Joe Abbott Memorial Scholarship
Joe Abbott was a great influence to me as a tennis pro. I worked briefly with Joe, but knew him as a tennis pro on the Cape outside of work. Joe had roots at Sesuit Harbor Tennis Center, the current club where I am teaching lessons and running clinics. By creating a scholarship in his name, Cape Cod Tennis can continue his legacy in the Cape Cod tennis community.
Each year, Cape Cod Tennis will host a Joe Abbott Memorial Tennis Scholarship event each year. In 2020, I completed a 7-day, 100+ match event.
The Joe Abbott Memorial Tennis Scholarship will provide multiple scholarships to local Cape Cod high school tennis players. Applications for the 2021 Joe Abbott Memorial Tennis Scholarship are currently being accepted using the form.

Support is available to Cape Cod locals
2021 applications are now open to year-round residents and college players. We have two scholarships available.
- Year-round Tennis Scholarship: provides Cape Cod tennis players support throughout the year to advance their tennis game. This includes training and equipment.
- College Scholarship: provides approved recipients up to $500 towards their college attendance.
